PHOENIX — A tragic incident unfolded in central Phoenix early Friday morning, resulting in the death of a man following a fiery crash, according to the city's police department.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., Phoenix police and fire personnel were dispatched to the area near Galvin Parkway and Van Buren Street in response to reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames.
