Riding for the Arizona Ridge Riders, Tetz displayed exceptional form throughout the weekend, culminating in his third consecutive victory at this highly competitive event.
Tetz's triumph came aboard Smart Donkey, a formidable bull from the renowned Vold Rodeo stock. Scoring an impressive 86.5 points, Tetz showcased his mastery over the powerful bovine athlete, earning his fourth Touring Pro Division victory of the season. This achievement not only solidified his standing in the 2024 PBR Canada Championship race but also highlighted his potential to claim the $100,000 bonus that accompanies the title.
Exiting the event with 38 national points, Tetz further narrowed the gap between himself and current leader Cody Coverchuk of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Aaron Roy of Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan, and Griffin Koester of Rockyford, Alberta, tied for fourth place with 83.5-point rides, each earning 14 national points. Roy, a three-time PBR Canada Champion, is determined to add a fourth title to his name, with his sights set on the upcoming 2024 PBR Canada National Finals in Edmonton, Alberta. Koester's ascent in the standings, moving from No. 39 to No. 33, reflects his growing prominence in the competitive field of professional bull riding.
Highlighting the event's bull pen, Run It Up from Eno Bucking Bulls/Gaume Farms emerged as the Bull of the Event, delivering a standout performance with a 44-point score.
