Standing in for President Joe Biden, Harris unveiled a robust aid initiative featuring $500 million in new energy assistance and an additional $324 million redirected toward urgent repairs to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. This funding aims to fortify Ukraine’s resilience against recent Russian attacks on its energy systems, ensuring stability and expansion in the sector.

Furthermore, over $379 million from the State Department and USAID will bolster efforts to aid millions affected by the conflict, reaffirming the United States’ steadfast commitment to Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.

G7 Unity and Diverse Attendance:

Fresh on the heels of the aid announcement came news of a $50 billion loan for Ukraine, jointly endorsed by Biden and fellow G7 leaders, supported by frozen Russian assets.
