Human Remains Found Near Arizona-Nevada Border Believed to Be Missing Man
MEADVIEW, Ariz. - Authorities have found human remains near the Arizona-Nevada border, believed to be those of a man who disappeared more than three years ago.
The remains were located on May 1 at Meadview Overlook in Mohave County. Preliminary investigations suggest they could be those of 19-year-old Brandon Parish, who was reported missing by his family in March 2021. At the time, Parish was also the subject of an active felony arrest warrant.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office has sent the remains to the medical examiner’s office to conduct an autopsy, which will help confirm the identity and determine the cause of death. According to the Sheriff's Office, there were no apparent signs of foul play at the discovery site, indicating that the location might have been where Parish ended up. Authorities continue their investigation, awaiting results from the medical examiner that could bring clarity and closure to Parish’s family regarding his mysterious disappearance.
