TAMPA, Fla. - Three people were injured in a shooting in downtown Tampa late Tuesday night, according to police.

The Tampa Police Department reported that officers responded to the intersection of Marion Street and Tyler Street at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday following reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a rifle and several spent casings at the scene. Two males sustained upper body trauma, and one female sustained lower body trauma. All three victims were later transported to a local hospital for treatment.
