A devastating accident occurred in Sedona, Arizona, where Zynad Joseph, a 40-year-old mother from California, tragically lost her life during a family hiking trip on Bear Mountain. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office reported that Joseph fell approximately 140 feet down a cliff while on the trail with her husband and their one-year-old child. Nearby hikers, alerted by her calls for help, found her severely injured and quickly dialed 911 as one of them descended the embankment to her side, finding her still breathing but critically injured.
