Jayson Scott, the son of renowned rapper Remy Ma, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Queens, New York, in 2021. Upon their arrival, they discovered 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Guillebeaux was subsequently transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Guillebeaux had previously been named as one of 54 defendants in the New York Attorney General's "Operation Heat Wave" in November 2020, a major law enforcement operation targeting three drug trafficking rings. He was accused of being a narcotics source for a drug operation in upstate New York.
