Information you provide to us

When you request a quote, book service, or contact us, you may share:

• Contact details such as your name, phone number, and email address
• Vehicle information such as year, make, model, VIN, and the type of glass or damage
• The service location or address where you would like us to come
• Insurance details such as your carrier, policy number, and claim information
• Messages, form submissions, and any other information you choose to send us
• Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider

Information we collect automatically

When you visit, our first-party analytics records page views, time on page, scroll depth, links clicked, the referrer, and a random identifier stored in your browser. It records software, device, language, display, processor, touch, and graphics characteristics, but no serial number or advertising ID. We record browser-reported and hosting-derived time zones; approximate country and state/region; a TLS connection signature; a daily one-way code from part of your network address; a known-data-center flag; a one-way user-agent hash; first-interaction timing and types, but not what you type or the tap or click location; and any referring AI assistant. We never store your IP address. We save submitted forms with the identifier and submission page to link earlier visits to your request. When Do Not Track is sent, we skip browsing analytics but still record submitted forms.

On pages where the Meta Pixel runs, Meta Platforms, Inc. also receives your IP address, browser and device information, the page you are on, the page that referred you, Meta cookie values, and events such as page views, quote requests, appointment bookings, and taps to call or text us. Our server also sends certain events and hashed identifiers to Meta through the Meta Conversions API, as described in the “Meta Pixel, Conversions API and interest-based advertising” section below. These Meta tools do not run when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The Pixel does not run on account, sign-in, sign-up, or password pages.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from your insurance company to verify coverage and process your claim, as well as from referral sources and service partners who help us provide our services.

How we use your information

• Process and assist with your insurance claim
• Communicate with you about your appointment and service
• Respond to your questions and requests
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services
• Detect bots, fraud, and automated or abusive traffic, keep visitor measurements accurate, and protect the website
• Measure how our advertising performs and show our ads to people who have visited our website or interacted with us
• Send you offers if you have opted in
• Comply with our legal, tax, and insurance obligations

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages, we use your mobile number to send appointment, service, and account-related messages, and—where you agree—occasional promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services on our behalf — such as customer service and message delivery — is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for any other purpose.

Cookies and analytics

We use first-party analytics to understand and improve the website, detect and exclude bots, fraud, and automated or abusive traffic, keep visitor measurements accurate, and protect the site. Automated systems classify visits using the details described above. Bot-detection device, connection, and interaction details are not used to identify you personally, sold, given to advertisers, or sent to Meta. A hashed version of the browser identifier is shared with Meta only as described in the Meta section. We never store your IP address. When you submit a form, we save your request with the identifier and submission page, linking earlier visits to your request. We skip browsing analytics entirely when your browser sends Do Not Track, but still record forms you submit. You can clear the browser identifier at any time through your browser settings.

We use a small number of essential cookies where needed for site functionality, such as keeping you signed in. If you arrive on our homepage from a link with campaign tags (“utm_” parameters), our server moves those tags from the address bar into a first-party cookie named “bag_utm.” It lasts no more than 10 minutes. Our analytics reads it once for the first page view and then deletes it. When Do Not Track is on, we delete the cookie without reading it.

Separately, the Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies and sends information to Meta for advertising and measurement. These tools are described in the “Meta Pixel, Conversions API and interest-based advertising” section below.

Meta Pixel, Conversions API and interest-based advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API from Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel is a script that runs in your browser. The Conversions API allows our server to send certain events directly to Meta.

The Pixel does not load, and our server sends nothing to Meta, when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The Pixel also does not load on account, sign-in, sign-up, or password pages.

• The Meta Pixel sets the _fbp cookie in your browser. It also sets the _fbc cookie when you arrive through a link from Facebook or Instagram that carries Meta’s click identifier. This can include an ad, an ordinary post, or another link. The Pixel sends Meta the page you are on, the page that referred you, your IP address, browser and device information, and events such as viewing a page, submitting a quote request, booking an appointment, or tapping to call or text us.
• When you submit a quote form, our server sends Meta the event through the Conversions API with your email address, first and last name, state, ZIP code, and country. A booking sends those values plus your city. A “Text me back” chat request sends your first name only. Each listed form value is converted into a one-way hashed code before it is sent. A tap to call or text sends an event through the Conversions API but no email, name, or address.
• Every server event also includes your IP address, browser information, Meta cookie values, and a hashed version of our random visitor identifier.
• We never send Meta your phone number. We also never send Meta your vehicle VIN, insurance company, policy number, claim number, date of loss, messages you type, or payment information.
• We may share a hashed version of a customer’s email address with Meta so that we can show ads to, or avoid showing ads to, existing customers. Phone numbers are never used or shared for this purpose.

Meta uses this information to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited our website or interacted with us. Meta may combine this information with information it already has. Meta’s own use of the information is governed by its Privacy Policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet. They may use that information to provide measurement services and target ads.

You can exercise choices about the collection and use of information for ad targeting in these ways:

• Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. When we receive either signal, the Meta Pixel does not load and our server sends nothing to Meta.
• Manage how Meta uses information for advertising through Meta Ad Preferences at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/.
• Use the Digital Advertising Alliance choice tool at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
• If you are in Europe, use https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
• Clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies can limit cookie-based collection by the Pixel. Clearing cookies removes stored cookie values but does not prevent cookies from being set again. Use Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control to stop both the Pixel and our server from sending events to Meta.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:

• Service providers and vendors who help us with scheduling, payments, hosting, analytics, and communications
• Meta Platforms, Inc., our advertising and measurement partner, as described in the “Meta Pixel, Conversions API and interest-based advertising” section. We share specified events, browser and device data, cookie values, hashed identifiers, and hashed email addresses with Meta. Phone numbers are never shared with Meta or any other advertising partner.
• Insurance companies, to process and support your claim
• Professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys
• Authorities or others when required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws define “selling” or “sharing” broadly enough to include the use of advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. You can opt out of website-based collection and sharing with Meta by turning on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser. When we receive either signal, the Meta Pixel does not load and our server sends nothing to Meta. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, and stop text messages by replying STOP. To request deletion of your data, visit our Data Deletion Request page. Depending on your state of residence, including Arizona and Florida, you may have additional privacy rights.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising as described in the “Meta Pixel, Conversions API and interest-based advertising” section.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Third-party links

Our website may link to sites we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated policy.
