A new Mini gets exactly one placement, because peeling it off the new glass ends its function too. Before exposing the adhesive, sit in the driver’s seat to confirm the spot does not block your view, then check the position from outside.
The new windshield is bonded to the vehicle with urethane around the glass perimeter. Keep dash-camera mounts, other device mounts and their wiring away from that edge, and never tuck a power cable under the windshield moldings. Route cables as the device and vehicle instructions allow, with enough slack that they do not pull on a mount attached to the glass.

The resident must present a current Kings Point badge and the vehicle registration. The registration is used to verify that the resident owns the vehicle.
The decal belongs on the lower left-hand corner of the windshield. According to the guide, that position allows security officers to view it clearly. Leave that corner of the new windshield open rather than filling it with a parking sticker, adhesive device or another item that could hide the resident decal.
The guide directs eligible residents to the front gatehouse visitors lane between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM for decal issuance. The PDF is undated, so confirm the current lane, documents and hours with Kings Point security before going to the gatehouse.

The Kings Point guide says overnight parking is not allowed in Kings Point parking lots. The permit is for residents or their house guests, lasts no more than seven days and is limited to one per 90 days.
If an active permit is on the outgoing windshield, call the front security gate before the glass comes out and ask whether it should be redisplayed or reissued, and where it belongs on the new glass. The timing matters: the guide requires every vehicle parked overnight to display the permit on its windshield and allows only one permit per 90 days, so a permit that leaves with the old glass may not simply be replaced. If the car will sit in the overnight area again, the permit has to be on the new windshield first.
A guest pass follows a different placement rule. The security guide says the pass issued at the gate goes on the dashboard rather than the windshield. Move it to a protected place during the appointment, then return it to the dashboard without attaching it to the new glass.
