SR 589 is the controlled-access toll corridor named the Veterans Expressway and Suncoast Parkway. Its Suncoast Parkway mainline toll stations closed on January 31, 2020. Tolls on the route are paid through a SunPass transponder or Toll-By-Plate rather than at a cash booth.
