Bang AutoGlass in Greenacres

Windshield replacement across Greenacres.

Greenacres is an inland city in our West Palm Beach area, about 8 miles from West Palm Beach. It began as a 1920s plat just west of Military Trail and now reaches toward Jog Road, with shops lining Lake Worth Road, Forest Hill Boulevard and 10th Avenue North. We come to every part of it. The town was incorporated as Greenacres City in 1926 and dropped the word City from its name in 1990.

Why windshields crack here

  1. Four busy shopping roads

Lake Worth Road, Forest Hill Boulevard, 10th Avenue North and Jog Road carry the city's shopping traffic. Short hops between lights leave gravel on the lanes, and the car ahead flings it back.

  2. Mowers and lawn crews

Crews cut medians and community lawns all year. A mower blade can launch a small rock into a parked or passing windshield.

  3. Inland afternoon downpours

Summer storms build fast away from the coast and dump heavy rain. A chip that fills with water and then meets cold air conditioning can run into a long crack.

Where we meet you

Home, work or a garage: we meet you in Greenacres.

Many Greenacres homes sit in condo, villa or townhouse communities with shared parking. Use your assigned space if you have one, and ask the management office whether outside contractors need to check in.

At work near Military Trail or Jog Road? A store or office lot is fine when the owner allows it and both front doors can open. Whoever has the keys stays nearby until the glass is in. Near John I. What will a windshield cost me with insurance in Greenacres?

With comprehensive coverage, the deductible does not apply to windshield damage in Florida, so it is often $0 out of pocket depending on your policy. We check your coverage before anything is booked. Florida windshield law.

Can you come to a condo or villa community?

Yes. Give us the building and the space number, and add our technician to the gate list if your community has one. A shared lot is fine as long as the car can stay put with both front doors open.

A lawn mower threw a rock into my windshield. What now?

Take photos of the glass and note the date, the address and the crew if you saw it. Then ask for a quote. We check your coverage first, and you decide whether to use insurance or pay on your own.

Does my car need its camera calibrated after a new windshield?

If there's a camera behind the rearview mirror, it may. The shop has to tell you in writing when calibration is needed, and we tell you before the job starts.
