    State Road 434 is the main east-west road through town, and Tuskawilla Road carries most of the north-south traffic. Busy turns at their lights leave grit on the road, and stones from it hit the glass.

  2. The expressway on the east edge

    SR 417 runs along the east side of Winter Springs and crosses Lake Jesup on a long bridge. A pebble from a truck tire at expressway speed is the classic start of a long crack.
