What breaks windshields around here

  1. Two truck routes cross here

North-south freight on US 27 meets east-west trucks on SR 60 at Lake Wales. A stone at that speed can crack the glass outright.

  2. Grove trucks on the ridge

Citrus still grows along the Scenic Highway, and in season fruit trucks leave sand and debris on the road.

  3. Hurricane winds

In 2004 three hurricanes passed near Lake Wales within weeks. Even a weaker storm throws limbs into parked cars, so check the glass after any big blow.

Does my deductible apply to a windshield in Lake Wales?

Not with comprehensive coverage. In Florida the deductible does not apply to windshield damage, while back, door and sunroof glass keep the deductible. We go over your policy before booking.

Can you work in a 55-plus community like Lake Ashton?

Yes. Clear us with the gate, tell us which driveway or carport the car is in and we do the job there.

Do you replace glass on grove and farm trucks?

Yes. We can come to the grove office or packing yard with the owner's okay. Send the VINs together and we bring glass for each truck.

Do you also go to Haines City and Avon Park?

Yes. Haines City is north on US 27 and Avon Park is about 23 miles south, and each has its own page.
