New windshields, fitted in Sunrise.

Sunrise reaches from the neighborhoods off University Drive west to the Sawgrass Expressway and the edge of the Everglades, about 28 miles north of downtown Miami. It started in 1961 as Sunrise Golf Village, and we now cover the whole city in our Miami area, from Sunrise Lakes and Springtree to Welleby, Sawgrass Mills and the arena.

What breaks windshields around here

  1. Sawgrass Expressway and I-75

The Sawgrass Expressway begins at I-75 and I-595 on Sunrise's west side, and long-haul trucks pass through that junction all day. A stone at those speeds is enough to chip or crack the glass.

  2. Event and outlet traffic

Game nights at the arena and weekend crowds at Sawgrass Mills pack Sunrise Boulevard and the expressway ramps. Stop-and-go traffic behind buses and trucks still throws grit.

  3. Afternoon thunderstorms

On summer afternoons, storms often build over the Everglades and drift east over the city. Wind gusts carry debris, and heavy rain gets into the car through a broken windshield.

Where we meet you

At your home or office lot around Sunrise.

Lots of Sunrise visits happen at work, in the Sawgrass International Corporate Park or the offices near the arena. A regular parking space works if there is room on both sides of the car.

At home, a driveway, garage or condo lot in Sunrise Lakes, Springtree or Welleby is fine. Some communities want vendors registered at the gate, so add your technician's name before the visit.

Is there a deductible for windshield replacement in Sunrise?

Not for drivers with comprehensive coverage, as the deductible in Florida does not apply to windshield damage. Door and rear glass use the deductible your policy sets. Your policy gets checked before a Sunrise visit is set. Florida windshield law.

Can you replace my windshield in the corporate park parking lot?

Yes. Most office lots in the Sawgrass park work well. Ask your property manager whether vendors need to check in, and let us know the building and lot when you book.

I drive the Sawgrass Expressway daily. Will my toll transponder still work?

A portable SunPass PRO or a hardcase transponder can be moved to the new glass. A SunPass Mini sticker cannot, so order a new one before the visit and update your account once it is on.

Do you also come to Plantation, Lauderhill and Weston?

Plantation and Lauderhill border Sunrise and have their own pages in our Miami area. For a Weston address, request a quote and we tell you before booking whether it is in our area.
