A Bentley windshield is often heated, with an electrical connector that powers fine elements in the laminate, as on the Continental GT and GTC. On cars with the Touring Specification pack, a camera mounted high on the glass, just below the headliner, reads the road for adaptive cruise with lane guidance and emergency braking, and a rain sensor usually sits beside it.
Bentley glass is ordered strictly by VIN, because heating, camera mount, sensor pad and tint band all vary by model and year. Getting each one right keeps the windshield clearing evenly and gives the camera the view it was set up for.

Touring Specification calibration on a Bentley
Bentley's Touring Specification pack brings adaptive cruise with lane guidance, lane assist and emergency braking, all of which look out through a camera mounted high on the windshield glass. After a Bentayga, Continental GT or Flying Spur gets new glass, that camera is calibrated before those features are used, and we plan it with the Bentley windshield.
The calibration runs from a diagnostic tool following the procedure for your model, with an aiming board placed at a measured distance from the Bentley's nose, or a drive on well-marked roads. If the location cannot support the routine, an alternative is arranged before work starts.

A heated Bentayga windshield with the Touring Specification camera mount is one of the larger glass jobs we quote, while an older Arnage pane is simpler. The VIN build and the calibration decide the Bentley quote.

Bentley windshield coverage in Arizona and Florida
In Florida, a Bentayga or Continental GT insured for comprehensive has the windshield deductible waived. Arizona has insurers put full glass coverage on offer, yet the Bentayga or Continental windshield is paid in full only where the owner took that option. The Bentley policy goes through our free coverage check before the visit, with filing help and our invoice sent to the insurer.

Your Bentley windshield visit
The VIN is decoded, then the visit happens wherever the Bentley lives, a home garage or an office lot. The mirror cover, camera housing trim and cowl come off, the cracked windshield is cut away, and the heated or standard replacement is laid into urethane with its connector and camera bracket in place. The camera is calibrated where the procedure can be done on site, and you are told when the Bentley can be driven.
