What sits in a Maserati windshield
On a Maserati Levante, Ghibli or Quattroporte equipped with Highway Assist, a forward camera sits behind the rear-view mirror and looks out through the windshield, teamed with radar in the front grille. The same glass may carry a rain sensor and a shade band, and the low MC20 and the GranTurismo use windshields shaped for their sports car bodies.

Highway Assist camera calibration on a Maserati
Highway Assist keeps a Maserati Levante, Ghibli or Quattroporte in the center of its lane at the chosen speed and following distance, using the forward camera behind the mirror and radar in the grille. After a new windshield, that camera's aim is set again before Highway Assist is relied on, and we schedule it alongside the Maserati windshield.
Calibration runs through a diagnostic tool with the procedure for your model, either against a board placed ahead of the car or on a drive along clear lane paint. If your space cannot host the board, the alternative is agreed before the old glass comes out.

A Levante windshield set up for the Highway Assist camera and rain sensor is a different part from glass for an older GranTurismo. The model, the equipment and the camera calibration shape the Maserati quote.

Maserati windshield coverage in Arizona and Florida
Florida comprehensive replaces a Levante or Ghibli windshield with the deductible waived. Arizona law has insurers put full glass coverage on the table, yet only a Quattroporte or Levante policy that includes it settles the windshield in full. A Maserati windshield visit
The VIN is decoded first, then the visit happens wherever the Maserati is parked, garage or office lot. The mirror trim, camera cover and cowl are removed, the cracked Levante or Ghibli windshield is cut out, and the new glass is laid into urethane with the camera bracket in Maserati's position. Highway Assist calibration follows before the keys come back where the procedure can be done on site.
