What breaks windshields around here

  1. I-75 and the Tamiami Trail

Fast traffic on I-75 and stop-and-go on US 41 both throw stones. A chip near the edge of the glass is the one most likely to spread.

  2. Over the Ringling Causeway

Trips out to St. Armands and Lido cross open water, where wind carries salt and sand onto the glass and the seal.

  3. Afternoon storms and heat

Summer storms bring down limbs in older neighborhoods like Laurel Park, and parking in the sun all day makes a small crack grow faster.

Where we meet you

We work where you park in Sarasota.

Sarasota visits happen in driveways, office lots and condo garages along the bayfront. We need clearance to open both front doors and someone with the keys nearby.

Downtown and island condo buildings often have rules about work in the garage, so check with the manager before you book. When rain is likely and there's no cover, we pick a new time with you.

Does a deductible apply to my Sarasota windshield replacement?

With comprehensive coverage, the answer is no: Florida does not apply the deductible to windshield replacement under that coverage. Door, rear and sunroof glass go through the deductible your policy sets, and we check your policy before booking. Florida windshield law.

Can you come out to Lido Key or St. Armands?

Yes. Both are inside the city, across the John Ringling Causeway. A home driveway or a condo garage on the island works if both front doors can open.

Do you work in downtown Sarasota parking garages?

Often, with the building's OK. Tell us the garage and the level when you book, since we need room for both front doors and enough height for the glass.

Do you also cover Bradenton and Venice?

Yes. Bradenton is to the north and Venice to the south, and both have their own pages. We confirm the exact address on your quote.
