Fiat rear glass, hatch and soft top

Most Fiat models, the 500, 500e, 500X and 500L, carry heated rear glass in a hatch with a wiper. The 500c and 124 Spider are different: their heated glass rear window is built into the fabric top, so the top and the window are serviced together rather than the glass alone.

For hatch glass, the cargo area is cleaned up first, then the 500 or 500X hatch glass is glued in, its heater lead plugged back on and the wiper arm returned. For a 500c or 124 Spider, we look at the damage and explain before booking whether the top assembly is involved.
