What an Infiniti windshield is built to carry
An Infiniti windshield from the last decade usually holds more than glass. QX60, QX80 and Q50 builds with ProPILOT Assist mount the forward camera on the glass behind the mirror, and many add a rain sensor beside it. Infiniti even made several Q50 windshields for the same years, split by those sensor mounts, which is why ordering by model alone goes wrong.
With the VIN we see which camera mount, rain sensor pad, heating strip and shade band your Infiniti was built with. Matching all of them keeps ProPILOT's view through the glass the same and the automatic wipers working as before.

ProPILOT Assist calibration on an Infiniti
ProPILOT Assist steers and holds speed using the forward camera on the Infiniti windshield, and Intelligent Cruise and lane departure features share it on many QX60, QX80 and Q50 builds. Because the camera's aim moves with the glass, it is calibrated after a windshield replacement, and we book that with the Infiniti windshield so you hear early if a second stop is involved.
Depending on the model, Infiniti's procedure is static, with an aiming board placed at a measured spot ahead of the car, or dynamic, a drive that lets the camera relearn painted lanes. Your parking spot has to suit the static version, and we say so before work starts.

What an Infiniti windshield quote depends on
A QX80 windshield with the ProPILOT camera mount and rain sensor is a much bigger part than a plain G37 pane. The model, the sensor package and the calibration that follows set the Infiniti quote.

Arizona insurers must offer a full glass option, yet an Infiniti windshield is paid in full only on a policy where the owner added it. Your Infiniti windshield, start to finish
Once the VIN is decoded, the visit happens at your home or office. The mirror cover, camera shroud and cowl come off the Infiniti, the old QX60 or Q50 windshield is cut out, and the new one goes into fresh urethane with the camera bracket where Infiniti placed it. ProPILOT calibration follows where the procedure can be done on site, then you are told when the Infiniti can be driven.
