Jaguar packs a lot into the windshield of an F-PACE, E-PACE, XF or XE. A stereo camera behind the mirror drives Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, many cars have a heated windshield with heated washer jets, and the laser head-up display requires an infrared-reflective windshield that also cuts heat and glare from the Arizona and Florida sun.
Three Jaguars with the same badge can need three different windshields, depending on heating, HUD and camera. The VIN shows which combination your car left the factory with, and that is the version we order so every function keeps working.

Stereo camera calibration on a Jaguar
The Jaguar stereo camera handles Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, the Intelligent Speed Limiter and Driver Condition Monitor on the F-PACE and related models. A new windshield moves its view of the road, so the camera is calibrated before you rely on those features, and we arrange it together with the Jaguar windshield.
Calibration uses a scan tool and the routine for your model, run with an aiming board positioned ahead of the car or on a drive along well-marked roads. If your space cannot host the board, the alternative is agreed before any glass is cut out.

What a Jaguar windshield quote depends on
An F-PACE windshield with IR-reflective HUD glass, heating and the stereo camera mount is a much bigger part than a plain X-Type pane. The VIN build and the camera calibration decide the Jaguar quote.

Jaguar windshield coverage in Arizona and Florida
Florida waives the comprehensive deductible on windshields, so an F-PACE or XF owner there pays none of it for the glass. Arizona makes insurers put full glass coverage on offer, and only an F-PACE or XF policy that includes it pays the windshield in full. Your Jaguar windshield visit
The VIN is decoded first, then we travel to your Jaguar. Mirror trim, camera cover and cowl panel come off, the cracked F-PACE or XF windshield is cut out, and the new one is laid into urethane with its heating connectors and camera mount in place. Stereo camera calibration follows where the procedure can be done on site, and we tell you when the Jaguar can be driven.
