Jeep builds two very different kinds of windshield. The Wrangler and Gladiator keep a flat, upright windshield in a frame that folds down onto the hood, and the Gladiator's frame is held by a four-bolt design at the top. Jeep ADAS calibration after windshield replacement
Stellantis, Jeep's parent company, has said plainly that a forward-facing camera, usually built into the rearview mirror area, needs a fresh calibration once a new windshield goes in. That covers a Grand Cherokee with lane and collision warnings as much as a Compass. We plan the Jeep calibration with the windshield appointment where the procedure can be done on site.
