Nissan rear glass

Nissan back glass replacement comes in more than one shape.

We replace Nissan back glass at homes and workplaces around Phoenix and Tucson in Arizona and around Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach in Florida. A sedan window, an SUV liftgate and a pickup slider are three very different jobs.

  1. Titan sliders: manual or power

    Nissan’s 2024 Titan spec sheet lists a manual sliding back window on the SV and PRO-4X and a power slider on the Platinum Reserve, with packages adding the power version and its defroster to other grades.

  2. Frontier: fixed on some, sliding on others

    Nissan’s 2023 Frontier Crew Cab spec sheet shows a fixed rear cab window on the S and a sliding one as standard on the PRO-X and PRO-4X. On the SV, the slider is optional with the short bed and standard with the long bed.

  3. Liftgates with a defogger and privacy tint

    The 2022 Pathfinder’s liftgate glass has a window defogger and privacy tint. On the 2025 Murano the rear wiper sits above the back window, so the glass and the wiper are handled as separate pieces.

What’s included

Most back glass is tempered, so one hit can turn the whole pane into small pieces that end up all over the car. It carries wiring too: the defroster grid and, on many cars, the radio antenna.

  1. OEM-quality back glass, matched by VIN

    Back glass changes with body style and trim. Your VIN tells us which pane your car came with: defroster grid, antenna lines, privacy tint, a hole for the rear wiper, a brake-light mount or a sliding center panel.

  2. Broken glass vacuumed out

    Tempered glass breaks into small cubes that land on the seats, the rear shelf and the trunk or cargo floor, and slip into the seams. We vacuum where it fell before the new glass goes in.

  3. Defroster and antenna tested

    The defroster grid and any antenna lines are printed on the replacement glass. We connect them to your car’s wiring and test them before we leave.

  4. Lifetime workmanship warranty

    Our workmanship and defects in the glass are covered for as long as you own the vehicle, including leaks, wind noise or loose trim caused by our work.

Can you replace the sliding back window on my Frontier or Titan?

Yes. We look up whether your truck has a fixed window, a manual slider or a power slider, then bring that exact part and test it before we go.

Will my Altima’s rear defroster work again?

It should. The new back glass comes with the defroster grid in it, and Nissan lists a rear window defroster with timer as standard on the 2023 Altima. We connect it and switch it on before we leave. Rear glass replacement.

Does insurance cover Nissan rear glass?

Why did my Nissan’s back window shatter on its own?

Back glass is usually tempered, which means the pane is under tension all the time. An unseen chip at the edge, a hard close of the liftgate or a sudden temperature change can release it at once. Tape plastic over the gap and send us a photo with the VIN.
