What’s different about a Nissan windshield.

Our crews replace Nissan windshields at homes and job sites around Phoenix and Tucson in Arizona and around Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach in Florida. These are the details that change the part.

  1. Camera mount on, rain sensor new

    Nissan’s glass guidance tells installers to leave the lane camera bracket and its cover bonded to the windshield, so they arrive on the new glass. A rain sensor taken off the old windshield can’t go back on, so it gets replaced too.

  2. Projection glass on four models

    A head-up display came to the Rogue Platinum in 2021, the Pathfinder Platinum in 2022 and the Murano Platinum in 2025, and most Ariya grades have one. Those windshields are built to show the image clearly.

  3. Acoustic glass on the Pathfinder

    Nissan’s 2022 Pathfinder launch lists new acoustic laminated front glass. When the VIN shows that layer, the replacement has it too.

How a windshield replacement goes, from crack to clear glass.

  1. Tell us about the Nissan. Year and model online, or call or text. Your VIN shows us the camera mount, any rain sensor and whether there’s a head-up display. Paying through insurance? We check the policy together and help you file your claim.

  2. Out with the cracked glass. Mon–Sat, wherever the Nissan is parked, we cut out the old windshield and set OEM-quality glass in new urethane. A side window is left open until the windshield is in place, as Nissan’s guidance asks.

  3. Camera reset, then the keys. On a Nissan with a forward-facing camera, the image calibration happens in this visit where the procedure can be done on site. Your technician tells you when the car is safe to drive.

Why is my lane departure warning acting strange after a new windshield?

Most likely the forward camera was never calibrated to the new glass. Nissan calls for a camera image calibration after the windshield is swapped, and we handle it during our visit where the procedure can be done on site. If a warning shows up after we leave, call (877) 994-5277.

How soon can I drive my Nissan after the install?

The install is usually about 30–45 minutes, plus the calibration when the camera needs one. Heat and humidity change how fast urethane cures, so your technician gives you the time on the day.

Do you do Nissan Altima windshield replacement with ProPILOT Assist?

Yes. On an Altima with ProPILOT Assist, the forward camera behind the glass helps hold the lane, so the new windshield arrives with its camera bracket and cover already bonded on. The camera gets its image calibration once the glass is set.
