Most back glass is tempered, so one hit can turn the whole pane into small pieces that end up all over the car. It carries wiring too: the defroster grid and, on many cars, the radio antenna.

    Back glass changes with body style and trim. Your VIN tells us which pane your car came with: defroster grid, antenna lines, privacy tint, a hole for the rear wiper, a brake-light mount or a sliding center panel.

  2. Broken glass vacuumed out

    Tempered glass breaks into small cubes that land on the seats, the rear shelf and the trunk or cargo floor, and slip into the seams. We vacuum where it fell before the new glass goes in.

  3. Defroster and antenna tested

    The defroster grid and any antenna lines are printed on the replacement glass. We connect them to your car’s wiring and test them before we leave.

  4. Lifetime workmanship warranty

    Our workmanship and defects in the glass are covered for as long as you own the vehicle, including leaks, wind noise or loose trim caused by our work.

Can you replace a power sliding rear window on my F-150?

Yes. We order the slider assembly for your truck by VIN, set it in, and connect and test the motor and the defroster before we leave.

Is it safe to drive with my Ford’s back glass broken?

Most back glass is tempered and breaks into small pieces that can keep falling. Tape plastic over the opening, keep the windows up if rain is coming, and send us a photo. We clean up the glass when we replace it.

Will insurance cover Ford rear glass?

Usually under the comprehensive part of the policy. In Arizona, full glass coverage is an option you choose, and it can cover back glass.
