Ford roof glass comes in a few designs. The Expedition's Panoramic Vista Roof uses two panels over the first and second rows, and the front one slides open. The Escape's Panoramic Vista Roof is one large glass panel with a power shade. The Mustang Mach-E has a fixed glass roof with a coating that reflects heat. Each one is ordered for its own model.
Opening Ford panels sit in a frame with tracks, seals and drain tubes, so we clear the broken glass from all of them before fitting the new panel. Fixed roof glass like the Mach-E's is bonded in place. The Bronco's removable roof sections are molded panels rather than glass, so they are a different kind of replacement.

What a Ford roof glass quote depends on
Ford roof glass is priced by the panel. One Expedition Vista Roof front panel, an Escape panoramic panel and a Mach-E fixed roof are all different parts. We confirm which panel broke and run a free coverage check before quoting.
Front or rear panel
On a two-panel Vista Roof, only the broken Ford panel is replaced, and front and rear differ.
Coated roof glass
A low-E coated roof like the Mach-E's is a specialty part compared with plain tinted glass.
Track and drains
Glass in the tracks and drain tubes has to be cleared before a new Ford panel can seal.
Shade and frame
A damaged power shade or a twisted track is separate from the glass, and we explain it before going further.
Ford sunroof glass coverage in Arizona and Florida
A broken Ford roof panel is normally a comprehensive claim with your regular deductible. Arizona's full glass coverage is written for windshield, door and window glass, so an Expedition or Escape roof panel may fall outside it. Florida's deductible waiver is for windshields only.
