We replace Hyundai sunroof glass at homes and workplaces in the Phoenix and Tucson areas of Arizona and the Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach areas of Florida. Hyundai builds several kinds of glass roof, and the trim decides which one is up there.

  1. Tilt-and-slide or panoramic

    On the 2026 Tucson, the SEL Premium gets a power tilt-and-slide sunroof and the Limited gets a panoramic one. The Elantra from SEL Sport Plus up and the Kona Limited use the tilt-and-slide type.

  2. Two panels on the big SUVs

    The 2027 Santa Fe and Palisade put a dual-pane roof on the Limited and Calligraphy and a single conventional sunroof on some other trims. We confirm whether the front or rear panel broke before ordering.

  3. A glass roof that stays shut

    The 2027 Ioniq 5 Limited has Hyundai’s Vision Roof, a panoramic fixed glass panel with nothing that tilts or slides. With no motor or track, the replacement comes down to fit and seal.

  4. A recall on early Velosters

    NHTSA lists a recall for certain 2012 Velosters with panoramic sunroofs that may have been weakened when installed at the factory. If yours is one of them, a Hyundai dealer handles the recall.

Many sunroofs are tempered glass, which breaks into small pieces all at once. Some panoramic roofs use laminated glass, which cracks but holds together.

    Your VIN tells us which roof the car came with: a tilt-and-slide panel, a moonroof under a sliding shade or a panoramic roof with a fixed rear pane. The new glass matches its shape, tint and mounting points.

  2. Fitted flush, then tested

    A moving panel is bolted to its slide mechanism, set level with the roof and run through tilt, slide and close. A fixed pane is bonded in with urethane.

  3. At your home or work, Mon–Sat

    We bring the glass to where the car is parked. A single tilting panel is a shorter visit than a two-pane panoramic roof, and your quote gives the time for your vehicle.

  4. Lifetime workmanship warranty

    If the install ever leaks or whistles, or the glass has a defect, we come back and make it right, for as long as you own the vehicle.

Why did my Hyundai sunroof shatter out of nowhere?

Sunroof glass is usually tempered, so once it fails it breaks all at once into small pieces. A stone from the road or a stress point at the edge can set it off. Close the shade, tape plastic over the opening before rain and text us a photo.

My Santa Fe has two roof panels. Do both need replacing?

No, only the broken one. The front and rear panels of a dual-pane roof are separate pieces, so we confirm which panel is damaged and quote just that one.

Is my 2012 Veloster roof part of a recall?

Possibly. NHTSA lists a recall for certain 2012 Velosters with panoramic sunroofs. Check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls; if it’s included, a Hyundai dealer does the recall repair. If it isn’t, we can quote the glass.

Does insurance pay for Hyundai sunroof glass?

Is it safe to drive a Hyundai with a broken sunroof?
