Why one Hyundai windshield isn’t like the next.

We put new windshields in Hyundais at homes and workplaces across the Phoenix and Tucson areas of Arizona and the Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach areas of Florida. These are the parts of the glass that change with the trim.

  1. The camera rides on the glass

    Hyundai mounts the camera for lane keeping, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise on the windshield behind the mirror. After the glass is replaced, Hyundai’s shop manual has those systems calibrated with its diagnostic tools.

  2. Head-up display trims

    On the 2026 Tucson Limited, the Santa Fe and Palisade Calligraphy and the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 Limited, driving data is projected onto the windshield. Hyundai designs that glass to keep the image single, so those trims need it.

  3. Quiet glass and rain sensors

    Hyundai lists an acoustic-laminated windshield on every current Tucson, Palisade and Santa Cruz. Rain-sensing wipers come only on upper trims such as the Tucson Limited, so the sensor mount is one more reason we check the VIN.

How a windshield replacement goes, from crack to clear glass.

  1. Give us the Hyundai. Year and model on the form, by phone or by text. The VIN tells us the camera mount, head-up display and sensor, and you hear about calibration before booking. Claiming on insurance? We check the coverage and help you file your claim.

  2. Swap the windshield. Mon–Sat, at your home or work, the cracked glass is cut out and OEM-quality glass is bonded in on fresh urethane with the camera mount in place.

  3. Calibrate, then drive. If your Hyundai has the camera, we calibrate it during the same visit where it can be done on site. Your technician tells you when the car is safe to drive.

A lane warning popped up after my windshield was changed. Is that normal?

It usually means the camera hasn’t been calibrated to the new glass. Hyundai calls for that step after a windshield replacement, and we do it in the same visit where it can be done on site. If a warning shows up after our install, call (877) 994-5277.

What does a Hyundai windshield cost?

The price follows the glass: an Elantra SE windshield and a Tucson Limited windshield with a head-up display and rain sensor are different parts. Your quote is free and shows the full price before anything is booked. With insurance, it’s often $0 out of pocket, depending on your policy.

Does Arizona insurance cover a Hyundai windshield?

Glass is part of comprehensive coverage. Arizona drivers can choose a full glass option, and with it a new windshield can carry no deductible. We review your policy and tell you your share before the appointment. Arizona glass coverage.

Will I owe a deductible on my Hyundai windshield in Florida?

How soon can I drive after the install?

The glass itself takes about 30–45 minutes, plus calibration when the camera needs it. Urethane cure time depends on heat and humidity, so your technician tells you when you’re safe to go.

Do you do Hyundai Elantra windshield replacement?

Yes. Every current Elantra has Lane Keeping Assist, so its windshield carries the camera mount behind the mirror, and the camera is calibrated once the new glass is in. We order by VIN so the bracket and any sensor match your trim.
