The Range Rover Velar is built for a flush side, with door handles that deploy and glass set close to the body for a smooth profile. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible goes further, with frameless door glass that meets the folding roof.
Tempered side glass breaks into small cubes that collect in the Land Rover door. They are vacuumed out of the door shell and window channel before the new pane goes onto the regulator and is cycled to check its seal.

How Land Rover door glass is replaced
We remove the Land Rover door trim and membrane, clear glass from the door, channel and cabin, and bolt the new pane to the regulator. The window is cycled and its one-touch function reset, and an Evoque Convertible pane is adjusted to the roof seal before the trim goes back.
