Land Rover panoramic roof glass
Panoramic glass roofs appear across the Land Rover range, on the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar, Evoque, Discovery and Discovery Sport, many with a front section that slides and a powered blind beneath. On the Discovery family, glass overhead goes back to the stepped roof and its alpine windows, which our quarter glass page covers.
When a Range Rover or Velar roof panel breaks, fragments drop onto the blind and down into the runners and drain tubes. Those are cleared, the damaged panel alone is replaced, and a sliding section is run through its travel to check the seal.

A Range Rover sliding section and an Evoque fixed panel are very different Land Rover parts. The model, the panel and any blind damage decide the quote.

A cracked Range Rover or Velar panoramic panel normally runs through comprehensive with the deductible. Roof glass falls outside Florida's windshield waiver, and on the Arizona side a Land Rover policy's full glass clause may or may not stretch to a sunroof. Seats and headliner are covered, the damaged Land Rover panel is lifted out, and fragments are cleared from the tracks, drains and blind. The new panel is set flush, a sliding section is opened and closed through its travel, and the drains are flushed with water.
