  1. Laminated side glass on the newest ES

    Lexus fits laminated side window glass to the eighth-generation ES to keep road noise down. That kind of glass cracks but holds together, so it comes out of the frame in one sheet instead of falling into the door.

  2. Windows that relearn their stops

    Lexus repair information lists the power door windows among systems that may need initializing after repair work. After the new glass goes in, we run the window fully up and down and check the one-touch control where the window has it.

Most door windows are tempered glass. When one breaks, it bursts into small cubes, and a lot of them fall down inside the door. Until it’s replaced, the car is open to theft and the weather.

    Front or rear, driver or passenger: each door takes its own glass, in the tint shade your car came with. Some cars use laminated or frameless door glass, and we confirm which yours has before we book.

  2. Broken glass vacuumed out

    We take the inside door panel off and vacuum the glass out of the door, then clean the seat, the floor and the door pocket. Pieces left inside a door can rattle as you drive and scratch the new window.

  3. Replaced where the car is parked

    At your home or work, so nobody has to drive around with an open window. Same-day appointments are available in most areas.
