Replacement by glass type

Mobile Lincoln auto glass replacement services

Name the Lincoln glass that broke and open its page. Aviator head-up display windshields with Co-Pilot360 cameras, the Navigator Vista Roof and the MKZ's sliding glass roof are each covered in detail.

A newer Lincoln windshield works with two pieces of electronics. The Co-Pilot360 camera clips to a bracket behind the mirror and reads the lane, and most Aviators, along with Navigator builds that have it, project a head-up display onto the glass. Rain sensors, a heated wiper park area and acoustic laminate join them on many Lincoln trims.

Windshield camera calibration

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 recalibration after windshield replacement

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 keeps lane and pre-collision watch through a camera on the windshield, and Ford Motor Company's position statement makes calibration mandatory after a windshield is replaced. For a Navigator, Aviator, Nautilus or Corsair, that usually means a dynamic calibration drive on well-marked roads, scheduled with the Lincoln windshield.

Insurance

Coverage for Lincoln glass replacement

In Florida, an Aviator or Nautilus insured for comprehensive gets its windshield deductible waived. Arizona insurers have to offer full glass coverage, and a Lincoln windshield there is paid in full when the owner added that option. We read the Navigator or Aviator policy in a free coverage check before the visit, help with the filing and send the invoice to the insurer.

Lincoln auto glass — common questions

Does Lincoln require calibration after a windshield replacement?
Yes. Ford and Lincoln's ADAS position statement mandates calibration after windshield replacement on vehicles with Co-Pilot360 cameras. We book the calibration with the Lincoln windshield where the procedure can be done on site and confirm the features from the VIN.
Can you replace a Lincoln Aviator windshield with a head-up display?
Yes. Most Aviators project a head-up display onto the windshield, so they need the HUD version of the glass. We order it by VIN, and the display is checked for a single, sharp image after fitting.
Can you replace the glass roof on a Lincoln MKZ?
Yes. The MKZ offered one of the largest retractable glass roofs fitted to a sedan, a panel that slides back over the rear window. We order it for your MKZ, fit it level and run it through its travel.
Does the older Lincoln Navigator rear glass open by itself?
Yes. Navigators built from 2003 to 2017 have a flip-up rear glass with its own latch, hinges and struts. A broken pane is replaced with that hardware moved over, without touching the liftgate.
Can I pick my own glass company for a Lincoln?
In most cases, yes. We fit OEM-quality glass matched to your Lincoln's camera, HUD and sensors, follow Lincoln's calibration requirements where possible, and start every visit with a free coverage check.
