A Porsche Cayenne or Macan windshield is ordered by its options as much as its model. Builds with Lane Keep Assist carry a camera bracket bonded to the glass, many are heated, a sunshield band may run across the top, and the Cayenne offers a head-up display that needs glass made for it. The 911, Panamera and Taycan follow the same logic with their own shapes.
The camera bracket cannot be moved from the old windshield to a plain one, so the replacement has to arrive with the right mount. Reading the VIN tells us which bracket, heating, sunshield and HUD version your Porsche needs.

Lane Keep Assist calibration on a Porsche
Calibration is mandatory after a windshield replacement on a Porsche with Lane Keep Assist. The camera behind the glass also feeds collision warning on many Cayenne, Macan, Panamera and Taycan builds, so its exact position and angle relative to the car's centerline are set again, and we plan that with the Porsche windshield appointment.
Porsche camera calibration uses a scan tool and the routine for the model, using either an aiming board set at a measured spot ahead of the nose, or a test drive along crisp lane lines. If your parking spot cannot host the board setup, we tell you the plan first.

What a Porsche windshield quote depends on
A heated Cayenne windshield with HUD and the camera bracket and a plain early Boxster pane are very different Porsche parts. The VIN build and the mandatory calibration shape the quote.

Under Arizona law the full glass option must be on the menu, and a 911, Cayenne or Macan whose owner added it gets the windshield paid in full. A Porsche windshield appointment
We decode the VIN, then come to the Porsche at home or at work. The mirror trim, camera cover and cowl come off, the cracked Cayenne or Macan windshield is cut out, and the new glass, already carrying its camera bracket, is set in urethane. Lane Keep Assist calibration follows where the procedure can be done on site, and you get the safe drive time before we leave.
