USAA windshield claim in AZ & FL

Your state and policy control the answer. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, an Arizona USAA policy has no deductible for covered windshield, door, and window glass only if you elected the full-glass option; otherwise, the comprehensive deductible applies. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, Florida's windshield deductible does not apply with comprehensive or combined additional coverage, but other glass keeps the normal deductible. Confirm your coverage with USAA.

USAA states that you may choose any shop, even though Safelite may answer or route its glass claims. In Arizona, A.R.S. § 20-469 protects shop choice unless your policy contract says otherwise. In Florida, Fla. Stat. § 627.7291 bars requiring a particular company or location for covered personal-lines windshield work, though a policyholder may have accepted a windshield repair-arrangement policy.

Coverage for calibration depends on your USAA policy and claim, so confirm it with USAA. For the replacement itself, tell us if your windshield has a forward camera or driver-assistance features.
