Allstate windshield replacement Arizona and Florida
We're a mobile auto glass shop serving Arizona and Florida. Tell us you're insured with Allstate and we'll verify your coverage, handle the claim paperwork, and come to you — usually next-day.
Allstate policies reach us from both Arizona and Florida, and the two states handle windshield deductibles under completely different rules — so the first thing to settle is which one your policy was written under. Some Allstate glass claims also come with a referral or dispatch number attached. Here is what that means and what happens next.
Starting a glass claim on an Allstate policy
Allstate policies turn up across both of the states we work in, so the first thing worth sorting out is which set of rules applies to you: the vehicle's garaging state and the state where the policy was written drive what happens with your deductible. An Arizona Allstate policy and a Florida Allstate policy behave differently on windshield glass, and the difference is statutory, not something either of us negotiates.
Practically, the sequence is short. You open the glass claim with Allstate through the carrier's usual channel — phone, app or website. Glass is usually handled as its own intake rather than as a full collision claim, so you generally will not be sending photos back and forth or waiting on an in-person inspection. You give them the vehicle, the damage, and the state. Then you tell them who is doing the work.
If you are handed a referral or dispatch number
If your Allstate glass claim comes with a referral number, dispatch number, or work order number rather than just a claim number, that means the glass side of the claim is being coordinated through a third-party glass administrator. It is a routine setup and it does not change what you are entitled to.
Two things follow from it. First: write that number down and have it with you when you book. It is the reference the administrator uses to authorize and bill the job, and having it up front removes a phone call from the middle of your day. Second, and more important: you choose your own glass shop. Arizona and Florida both leave the choice of glass shop with the vehicle owner. Tell your insurer you want Bang AutoGlass, keep the referral number, and the claim proceeds the same way.
Florida Allstate policies and the windshield deductible
If your policy is a Florida one and it carries comprehensive coverage, the deductible question on a windshield is already answered. Florida law (Fla. Stat. 627.7288) requires insurers to waive the deductible for windshield replacement when the policy includes comprehensive coverage.
Read that narrowly, because it is written narrowly. It covers the windshield. It does not reach the driver's or passenger's door glass, the small quarter glass behind the doors, the back glass, or a panoramic roof. If a break-in took your rear door glass out of a Ford Explorer, that is a normal comprehensive claim with your normal comprehensive deductible, and it is worth knowing that before you file rather than after.
Arizona Allstate policies and elective safety-glass coverage
Arizona works the other way around. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to OFFER optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage. The obligation is to make the offer. Whether you have the coverage depends on whether you elected it when the policy was written or last renewed.
So on an Arizona Allstate policy, the honest answer is: check. It is a one-line question when you call in the claim — ask whether the policy carries the no-deductible glass option. If it was elected, the windshield is covered without a deductible. If it was not, comprehensive still responds and your deductible applies as written. That election cannot be made retroactive.
The vehicles behind these claims
The vehicles we see most often on Allstate claims are Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda, Ford, and Jeep — Camrys, RAV4s, Silverados, Civics, CR-Vs, F-150s, Grand Cherokees and Wranglers. What actually shapes the appointment is the model year, which is why we ask for it before anything else.
If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera — generally 2018 and newer
Look up at the windshield behind the rearview mirror. If there is a camera mounted there, it is driving lane keeping, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise, and replacing that windshield means the camera has to be recalibrated afterward. That is part of the replacement, not an upsell, and it is what makes those systems read the road correctly again. Toyota and Honda applications typically want a static calibration done against targets, which needs level ground and clear space; some Ford and Chevrolet applications will take a dynamic calibration driven on the road; several need both. Tell us the year, make and model when you book and we will tell you which one your vehicle takes and what the appointment needs.
If your vehicle is older and has no camera
Older Silverados, F-150s, Wranglers and Grand Cherokees bring a different set of concerns. On older trucks the pinch weld under the old urethane is where problems hide — usually surface rust left by a prior replacement or a slow leak. That gets addressed at the time of the job, not painted over, because new urethane will not bond to a corroded flange. Wranglers have their own quirks: flat glass, a folding frame, and hardware that has often been apart at least once. Older cowl panels, moldings and clips go brittle in Arizona and Florida sun and sometimes need replacing rather than reusing. If your vehicle is older, say so when you book so the right molding and clip set rides along with the glass.
How the appointment actually runs
We are mobile only — every job happens where your car already is, at home or at work, in Arizona and Florida. There is nowhere to drive to. Typical turnaround is next-day once the claim is authorized and the correct glass is confirmed for your VIN, which matters on these makes because a single model year can have several windshield variants depending on rain sensor, heating, acoustic interlayer and camera bracket.
Note that we replace glass. We do not do chip or rock-chip repair, so if a small break is the only damage, ask Allstate about repair options rather than booking with us.
Have ready when you call: the claim number, the referral or dispatch number if one was issued, your VIN, and whether the vehicle has lane keeping or automatic emergency braking. Vehicle should be parked somewhere with room to work and, for a static calibration, on reasonably level ground out of direct downpour. After the glass is set, the urethane needs its safe drive-away time before the vehicle goes anywhere — we will tell you the exact interval on the day, since it varies with adhesive and weather.
How a Allstate glass claim works
- 1. You call or book online. Tell us it's a Allstate policy and give us your vehicle, the damage, and where you want us to meet you.
- 2. We verify your coverage — free. We confirm what your policy actually covers before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises.
- 3. We handle the claim paperwork. We file it and walk you through anything Allstate needs from you directly.
- 4. We come to you. Home, work, or roadside — most jobs take 30–45 minutes, plus recalibration where your vehicle needs it.
Allstate claims in Arizona
Arizona gives you three protections worth knowing before you file. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, every insurer selling comprehensive coverage in Arizona — Allstate included — must offer you a zero-deductible full safety-glass option. If you carry it, your windshield replacement is $0 out of pocket. Under A.R.S. § 20-263, an insurer may not raise your premium over an accident you did not cause — the normal treatment for glass damage from road debris. And under A.R.S. § 20-469, the choice of glass shop is yours — not your insurer's.
We serve the Valley and beyond: Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, and every Arizona city we serve. Full detail on state coverage rules is on our Arizona insurance guide.
Allstate claims in Florida
Florida is the strongest windshield state in the country for drivers. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, an auto policy with comprehensive coverage must replace your windshield with no deductible — so a Allstate comprehensive policy generally means $0 out of pocket on a windshield replacement. The statute covers windshield replacement specifically; door, quarter, rear, and sunroof glass follow your normal deductible.
We serve Tampa Bay, Orlando, Miami, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and cities across Florida. The full statute breakdown is on our Florida windshield law page.
Allstate glass claims — common questions
Allstate gave me a referral number and a shop name. Do I have to use that shop?+
You choose. Arizona and Florida both leave the choice of glass shop with the vehicle owner. A referral or dispatch number simply means a third-party glass administrator is coordinating the glass side of the claim, which is a routine arrangement. Keep the number — the administrator uses it to authorize and bill the job — and tell your insurer you want Bang AutoGlass.
Will I owe a deductible on my Allstate windshield replacement?+
It depends on which state the policy was written in, and the two states work differently. Florida law (Fla. Stat. 627.7288) requires insurers to waive the deductible for windshield replacement when the policy includes comprehensive coverage — that applies to the windshield only, not door, quarter, rear or roof glass. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to OFFER optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage, which is an option you must have elected on the policy. On an Arizona policy, ask Allstate directly whether that option is on your declarations; if it was not elected, your normal comprehensive deductible applies.
My Allstate-insured Toyota has lane keeping. Does the windshield replacement include recalibration?+
Yes, and it is part of the job rather than an add-on. If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera behind the rearview mirror — generally 2018 and newer — that camera runs lane keeping and automatic emergency braking, and it has to be recalibrated after the windshield is replaced. Toyota and Honda applications typically call for a static calibration against targets, which needs level ground and clear working space; some Ford and Chevrolet applications take a dynamic road calibration; a few require both. Give us the year, make and model when you book and we will tell you which one applies.
Do I file the Allstate claim myself?+
You don't have to. Tell us it's a Allstate policy when you book and we handle the claim paperwork and walk you through the filing — that's included, not an add-on. Have your policy number and the date the damage happened handy and we take it from there.
Will a glass claim raise my Allstate premium?+
Glass claims are filed under comprehensive coverage and are normally treated as not-at-fault events — a rock thrown up by a passing truck isn't something you caused. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-263) bars an insurer from raising your premium as a result of an accident you did not cause or significantly contribute to. Rating practices vary by carrier and policy, so if this is a concern, ask Allstate directly how a comprehensive glass claim is treated on your policy.
