What sets Acura glass apart.

A camera reads the road through the glass
AcuraWatch watches lanes and traffic through a camera at the upper edge of the windshield, behind the rearview mirror. Your VIN shows which camera setup your Acura has.
Sound-deadening layers in the glass
Acura lists acoustic laminated windshields on the 2022 MDX, the 2021 TLX, the third-generation RDX and the 2024 ZDX. The MDX and ZDX add acoustic front side windows too, so a plain pane would let in more road noise.
Head-up display on upper trims
The MDX, RDX and TLX offer a head-up display with the Advance Package, the Integra on the A-Spec with Technology Package and the ZDX on the Type S. Those cars take a windshield built for the projection.
Panoramic roofs are standard on the big SUVs
Every 2022 MDX has a panoramic tilt-and-slide moonroof made of two tempered panes. The RDX roof pairs a sliding front panel with a fixed rear one, so we find out which pane cracked before ordering.

Will my Acura need the camera re-aimed after a new windshield?
Your VIN tells us. When it shows AcuraWatch, you hear before booking whether the camera needs re-aiming, and it is done in the same visit where the procedure can be done on site. Acura ADAS calibration.
My MDX has a head-up display. Can you still replace the windshield?
Yes. An Advance Package MDX takes a windshield made for the head-up display, and the VIN shows us which one. The same lookup tells us about the camera mount and the rain sensor on your trim.
Do I need an Acura dealer for glass work?
No. We come to your home or work and fit OEM-quality glass matched to your VIN. When insurance is paying, your policy and your state’s rules decide how the claim goes, and we walk through both with you before the appointment. How insurance works for auto glass.
How long will my Acura be out of action?
