Chevy Safety Assist bundles forward collision alert and lane keep assist around a windshield-mounted camera.
Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Alert and automatic emergency braking on a Chevrolet read the road through one front camera high on the glass. A new windshield changes that view slightly, so the camera has to be calibrated before those features can be trusted. We plan the Chevy calibration with the windshield job and tell you if your model needs a separate appointment.
