The Rivian R1S and R1T windshield holds the front driver-assistance camera that Driver+ uses to read lanes and traffic. Rivian calls for that camera to be recalibrated whenever the windshield is replaced.

Rivian ADAS calibration after windshield replacement
Driver+ on the R1S and R1T reads the road through a front camera at the windshield, and Rivian calls for that camera to be recalibrated whenever the windshield is replaced. That recalibration is done through Rivian's service network, and we tell you so before your Rivian windshield is booked.

Coverage for Rivian glass replacement
In Florida, comprehensive pays for an R1S or R1T windshield with the deductible waived. On the Arizona side, an R1S or R1T policy pays the windshield in full only if its owner added the full glass option that insurers there must offer. Before anything else, the R1S or R1T policy goes through our free coverage check, and we help you file the claim.
