What’s different about a Toyota windshield.

We replace Toyota windshields on driveways, at curbs and in work lots across the Phoenix and Tucson areas of Arizona and the Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach areas of Florida. On most newer Toyotas the windshield holds more than glass, and these are the parts we match.

  1. The Safety Sense camera behind the mirror

    Toyota Safety Sense reads the road through a camera mounted to the inside of the windshield. Toyota’s repair procedure has that camera calibrated after the glass is replaced, so the step is planned before we arrive.

  2. Head-up display glass

    The 2025 Camry XLE and XSE, the 2024 Tacoma Limited, the 2025 4Runner Platinum and the Grand Highlander can project speed onto the windshield. The 2026 RAV4 adds it on some grades. Those cars need a windshield made for the display.

  3. Rain-sensing wipers and a wiper de-icer

    Toyota offers automatic rain-sensing wipers on grades of the Camry, 4Runner and Grand Highlander, and RAV4 weather packages pair them with a wiper de-icer. The VIN shows whether yours has them, and the new glass is ordered to match.

  4. Glass that holds up the roof

    Toyota repair information counts the windshield as a structural part that adds strength to the roof and the front pillars. That’s why the urethane gets time to set, and your technician tells you when it’s safe to drive.

Why is my Toyota showing a pre-collision or lane warning after a windshield change?

Most often the camera behind the glass hasn’t been calibrated to the new windshield, and Toyota Safety Sense can switch features off until it is. We calibrate during our visit where it can be done on site. If a message comes up after one of our installs, call (877) 994-5277.

What does a Toyota windshield cost?

Does Arizona insurance pay for a Toyota windshield?

Usually under comprehensive. Arizona policies can carry a full glass option the driver chooses, and if yours has it, a windshield is replaced with no deductible. We go over the policy with you and give you your share before the visit. Arizona glass coverage.

Is there a deductible on a Toyota windshield in Florida?

How soon can I drive after a new Toyota windshield?

The install itself runs about 30–45 minutes, and calibrating the camera adds some time when your Toyota needs it. Heat and humidity change how fast the urethane sets, so wait for your technician’s go-ahead.

Do you do Toyota RAV4 windshield replacement with the wiper de-icer?

Yes. RAV4 weather packages pair rain-sensing wipers with a wiper de-icer, so the new windshield has to carry both, along with the Safety Sense camera mount. We order by VIN and calibrate the camera once the glass is in.
