Loya windshield replacement Arizona
We're a mobile auto glass shop serving Arizona. Tell us you're insured with Loya and we'll verify your coverage, handle the claim paperwork, and come to you — usually next-day.
Loya glass claims reach us as Arizona claims, and they generally run as direct claims — you open the file with Loya, get a claim number, and bring that number to the shop you pick. Here is how a mobile windshield replacement on an Arizona Loya policy actually runs, start to finish.
Loya glass claims are an Arizona conversation
We serve Arizona and Florida, but the Loya policies that reach us are Arizona policies. That matters more than it sounds, because the two states handle glass coverage in completely different ways, and most of what you will read online about "free windshield replacement" is written about Florida. Arizona works on a different rule, and it is worth understanding before you call anyone.
It also means the driving conditions behind your crack are familiar ones: gravel thrown on the valley freeways, construction rock on the 101 and 202, and long stretches of summer heat that turn a small edge crack into a full run across the glass in a single afternoon. A star break parked in a Phoenix lot at 115 degrees does not stay a star break. If you are deciding whether to deal with it now or later, Arizona heat generally decides for you.
Start by confirming two things on your policy
Glass replacement runs through comprehensive coverage. Comprehensive is optional in Arizona, so the first question is simply whether your Loya policy includes it. Your declarations page will say. If it does not, the claim route is not available to you, and it is better to learn that in two minutes than after a week.
The second question is about a specific Arizona provision. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to OFFER optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage. Read that carefully: the law requires the offer, not the coverage. It is an option you must have elected and, in most cases, paid a small additional premium for. It is never automatic and it is not an entitlement. Plenty of Arizona drivers have comprehensive coverage and a comprehensive deductible that still applies to glass, because the safety-glass option was declined or never added at renewal.
So the honest version of the question is: do I have comprehensive, and did I elect the no-deductible safety-glass option? Loya can tell you both when you open the claim. Ask directly — it is a normal question and it determines what, if anything, you owe at the end.
Opening the claim and choosing your shop
Open the claim through Loya's usual channel — phone, app or website — and write down the claim number they give you. That number, plus your policy details, is what we need on our end. If you are given any other reference number along the way, note it down and pass it to us as well.
One thing does not change. Arizona and Florida both leave the choice of glass shop with the vehicle owner. Tell your insurer you want Bang AutoGlass. Give us the claim number and your policy details and we handle the paperwork side from there.
The vehicles we actually see on these policies
The Loya work that comes to us skews toward Toyota, Ford and Chevrolet — Camrys, Corollas, RAV4s, F-150s, Silverados and Equinoxes — with a real share of Mercedes-Benz and Audi mixed in. That split shapes the job in two different directions, depending mostly on how old your vehicle is.
Newer vehicles: recalibration is part of the work
If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera behind the windshield — generally 2018 and newer — recalibration is part of the job. That camera runs lane keeping, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise or traffic sign recognition. On a Toyota with Safety Sense, a Ford with Co-Pilot360, a Chevrolet with forward collision alert, or the driver-assist packages on Mercedes-Benz and Audi, the camera is aimed through the glass. Replace the glass and the camera has to be recalibrated to the new surface. This is not an upsell — it is how the system is returned to spec, and skipping it means the safety features may read the road incorrectly.
Two practical consequences. First, tell the claims representative your vehicle has driver-assist features so recalibration is included in the claim from the start rather than added later. Second, calibration takes time on top of the glass work, and some vehicles require a static procedure on a level surface with targets rather than a dynamic road-drive. We will tell you which yours needs before we come out.
Older vehicles: fitment, trim and what the sun did
On older vehicles, the concerns move elsewhere. Arizona sun destroys plastic — cowl panels, A-pillar covers and moldings on a ten-year-old truck can be brittle enough to crack on removal, which is worth knowing in advance rather than discovering mid-job. We also check the pinch weld underneath the old urethane. Corrosion is less common here than in humid states, but previous replacements done poorly leave their own problems, and bonding new glass to a bad surface is how leaks and wind noise start.
How the mobile appointment works
We are fully mobile. There is no shop to drive to; we come to your home or workplace anywhere we serve in Arizona. We replace glass — we do not do chip repair, so if a rock hit is small and you want it filled rather than replaced, we are not the right call.
Once your claim number is open, we will schedule the soonest appointment our route allows and confirm the window with you. Park in shade or a garage if you can. Urethane needs a safe drive-away period to cure, and desert heat and dust both affect that; your technician will tell you exactly how long to wait before driving and when to remove the retention tape. Clear personal items from the dash and front seats before we arrive, and if your vehicle needs a static calibration, we will need level ground and some clearance in front of the vehicle.
How a Loya glass claim works
- 1. You call or book online. Tell us it's a Loya policy and give us your vehicle, the damage, and where you want us to meet you.
- 2. We verify your coverage — free. We confirm what your policy actually covers before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises.
- 3. We handle the claim paperwork. We file it and walk you through anything Loya needs from you directly.
- 4. We come to you. Home, work, or roadside — most jobs take 30–45 minutes, plus recalibration where your vehicle needs it.
Loya claims in Arizona
Arizona gives you three protections worth knowing before you file. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, every insurer selling comprehensive coverage in Arizona — Loya included — must offer you a zero-deductible full safety-glass option. If you carry it, your windshield replacement is $0 out of pocket. Under A.R.S. § 20-263, an insurer may not raise your premium over an accident you did not cause — the normal treatment for glass damage from road debris. And under A.R.S. § 20-469, the choice of glass shop is yours — not your insurer's.
We serve the Valley and beyond: Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, and every Arizona city we serve. Full detail on state coverage rules is on our Arizona insurance guide.

Loya glass claims — common questions
Does my Loya policy cover a windshield replacement in Arizona with nothing out of pocket?+
Only if two things are true. Your policy has to include comprehensive coverage, which is optional in Arizona, and you have to have elected the optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to OFFER that optional coverage, but it is an election the driver makes — it is never automatic. If you have comprehensive but did not add the safety-glass option, your comprehensive deductible normally applies. Ask Loya to confirm both when you open the claim, and you will know before we ever schedule.
What number do I need to give you to get the glass scheduled?+
The claim number Loya issues when you open the file. Open the claim through the carrier's usual channel — phone, app or website — and write the number down. If you are given any other reference number along the way, note that too and pass it to us. Arizona and Florida both leave the choice of glass shop with the vehicle owner, so tell your insurer you want Bang AutoGlass, then send us the claim number and your policy details and we take the paperwork from there.
My Toyota has Safety Sense — does the camera need recalibration after the windshield is replaced?+
Yes. Toyota Safety Sense, like Ford Co-Pilot360, Chevrolet forward collision systems and the driver-assist packages on Mercedes-Benz and Audi, uses a camera mounted behind the windshield. New glass means the camera is looking through a different surface and must be recalibrated to factory specification. Mention the driver-assist features when you open the claim so recalibration is part of the file from the beginning. We will confirm whether your vehicle requires a static procedure or a dynamic road calibration before the appointment.
Do I file the Loya claim myself?+
You don't have to. Tell us it's a Loya policy when you book and we handle the claim paperwork and walk you through the filing — that's included, not an add-on. Have your policy number and the date the damage happened handy and we take it from there.
Will a glass claim raise my Loya premium?+
Glass claims are filed under comprehensive coverage and are normally treated as not-at-fault events — a rock thrown up by a passing truck isn't something you caused. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-263) bars an insurer from raising your premium as a result of an accident you did not cause or significantly contribute to. Rating practices vary by carrier and policy, so if this is a concern, ask Loya directly how a comprehensive glass claim is treated on your policy.
