Safeco policies in Arizona

A.R.S. § 20-264 requires insurers writing private passenger comprehensive coverage to offer full-glass coverage without a deductible. The policyholder must elect it. It is not automatic.

Under A.R.S. § 20-469, an Arizona insured may choose a glass repair facility unless the policy contract says otherwise.

Safeco policies in Florida

Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, Florida's windshield deductible does not apply when the policy has comprehensive or combined additional coverage. The rule does not cover door, rear, quarter, or sunroof glass.

Fla. Stat. § 627.7291 says a person may not require a particular company or location for covered Florida personal-lines windshield claims. An insured may have accepted a policy with a windshield repair arrangement, so check the policy terms.

Will Safeco charge a deductible for my windshield?

For an Arizona policy, A.R.S. § 20-264 makes coverage with no deductible an option you must have elected for covered windshield, door, and window glass. If you did not elect it, the comprehensive deductible applies. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, Florida's windshield deductible does not apply when the policy has comprehensive or combined additional coverage. Other Florida glass keeps its normal deductible.

Can Safeco make me use a certain glass shop?

With an Arizona policy, A.R.S. § 20-469 lets you choose a glass shop unless the policy contract says otherwise. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7291, Florida does not allow a required company or location for a covered personal auto windshield claim. Your Florida policy may include a repair arrangement you accepted, so confirm its terms with Liberty Mutual for your Safeco policy before scheduling.

Does a Safeco glass claim include ADAS calibration?

Coverage for calibration depends on your Safeco policy and claim. Confirm it with Liberty Mutual before the visit. If your vehicle requires calibration, Bang AutoGlass can provide calibration during the same visit where the procedure can be done on site.
