Audi panoramic roofs and the e-tron GT
Many Audi SUVs and wagons, including the Q5 and Q7, use a two-piece panoramic sunroof with a sliding front panel and a fixed rear panel under a power shade. The e-tron GT takes another approach. Its optional panoramic glass roof is fixed and has no shade at all. A coating with very thin metal layers reflects infrared heat instead.
A sliding Audi panoramic roof has tracks and drain tubes that catch broken glass, so they are cleared before the new panel is fitted. The e-tron GT roof is a coated part, which we confirm by VIN before ordering.

What an Audi roof glass quote depends on
An A3 sunroof panel, a Q7 panoramic panel and an e-tron GT coated roof are very different Audi parts. The roof type and the broken panel set the price.

Inside an Audi roof glass visit
We protect the Audi headliner and seats, remove the broken panel and vacuum glass out of the tracks, drains and shade. The new panel is set flush and run through its slide and tilt, or on an e-tron GT the fixed roof is bonded in place and checked for a clean seal.
