Genesis panoramic roofs
The Genesis GV80's panoramic roof is built from two glass panels on a track frame, with a power shade and motors beneath. The G80 and GV70 offer panoramic sunroofs of their own, and the G90 and G70 use roof glass sized to each sedan. On the two-panel roofs, the front glass opens while the rear glass stays put.
When a Genesis roof panel breaks, fragments land in the track frame, drains and shade. They are cleared, the broken panel alone is replaced, and the moving glass is run through its full travel to confirm a tight seal.

Inside a Genesis roof glass visit
Covers go over the Genesis seats and headliner, the broken panel comes out, and fragments are cleared from the track frame, drains and shade. The new panel is set level with the roof, the front glass is cycled through tilt and slide, and water is run through the drains.
