Usually, through the comprehensive part of your Amica auto policy; a liability-only policy doesn’t pay for your own glass. In Arizona, the windshield skips the deductible only if you chose full glass coverage. In Florida, the deductible doesn’t apply to windshield damage on a policy with comprehensive coverage. We check your policy before booking.

According to Amica’s glass page, replacing the whole windshield costs you the deductible unless full glass coverage is on the policy. Arizona insurers make that add-on available for personal auto policies carrying comprehensive. In Florida, the deductible doesn’t apply to windshield damage on a policy with comprehensive coverage. We look at your declarations page to see which case you’re in.
Amica’s glass page offers Safelite for scheduling. The law sits on top of that. In Arizona you can choose any glass shop unless your policy contract says otherwise. In Florida, on a personal auto policy, Amica may not require a particular company for windshield work; if you accepted a discount for a set repair arrangement, check your policy.
