Step by step

How to start an Anchor General glass claim.

Anchor General’s contact page lists no online claim form, so the call is the claim. A quote from us first gives you the vehicle details to read off.

  1. Let us size up the glass

Text a photo and the year, make and model, or call (877) 994-5277. We pull the windshield that fits your VIN and look at your Anchor General coverage with you.

  2. Call Anchor General’s claims department

Dial (800) 542-6246 and follow the menu to Report New Claim. Its claims office keeps weekday hours, 8 to 5 Pacific time.

  3. Ask for us on the claim

When the representative asks about a glass shop, give Bang AutoGlass and (877) 994-5277. Write down the claim number before you hang up.

  4. We come to you

Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm, at your home or work. Most windshields take 30–45 minutes, and we bill your insurer directly.

Does Anchor General cover windshield replacement in Arizona?

Usually, through the comprehensive part of your Anchor General auto policy; a liability-only policy doesn’t pay for your own glass. In Arizona, the windshield skips the deductible only if you chose full glass coverage. We check your policy before booking.

How do I report a windshield to Anchor General?

By phone. Anchor General’s contact page says to call (800) 542-6246 and pick Report New Claim; a representative files it with you. Hours are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific.

Can I check a claim I already opened?

Yes, on the same number. Choose the Existing Claim option and keep the claim number handy, or dial your claim examiner’s extension if you have it.

Will Anchor General charge my deductible for the windshield?

Only your policy can say. Arizona insurers that write personal auto with comprehensive must offer full glass coverage, and you decide whether to add it. With it, a windshield is often $0 out of pocket; without it, the comprehensive deductible applies.

Can Bang AutoGlass replace it on an Anchor General claim?

In Arizona you can choose any glass shop unless your policy contract says otherwise. If Anchor General recommends a shop, it has to tell you that you can choose.

Does a glass claim change my Anchor General rate?

Put that to Anchor General or your agent. Pricing rules belong to each insurer and policy, and we won’t guess. More on glass claims and your rate.
