Common Wealth windshield replacement Arizona

We're a mobile auto glass shop serving Arizona. Tell us you're insured with Common Wealth and we'll verify your coverage, handle the claim paperwork, and come to you — usually next-day.

Will Common Wealth charge you a deductible?

For Arizona policies, the state's glass law decides it.

Arizona: state law (A.R.S. § 20-264) requires insurers — Common Wealth included — to offerzero-deductible full glass coverage. If you elected that option when the policy was written or renewed, your glass is often $0. It's never automatic — we check whether you carry it, free.

How to file with Common Wealth

  1. 1. Open the glass claim with Common Wealth. Most carriers take glass claims through their app, their website, or the claims number on your policy card — say "glass only" and it's usually the fastest lane they have.
  2. 2. Answer the basics. They'll ask for your policy number, the date the damage happened, and which glass is damaged — plus roughly where the break sits and how big it is.
  3. 3. Write down the number they give you. Some carriers issue a claim number directly; others route glass through an administrator and hand you a referral number instead. Either one is all we need — the notes below cover what to expect from Common Wealth.
  4. 4. Or skip all of it. Tell us it's a Common Wealthpolicy and we file the claim with you start to finish — that's included, not an add-on.

What to have ready

  • Your claim number — if you already filed
  • Your policy number — if you haven't
  • Year, make, and model
  • The VIN, if it's reachable — two same-trim cars can take different glass
  • The ZIP code where the car will be parked

Missing something? Start anyway — we'll fill the gaps with you on the phone.

Vehicle makes serviced

Every windshield replacement comes with OEM-quality glass, a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, and ADAS recalibration to factory spec when the vehicle needs it.

Common Wealth policies turn up in our work almost entirely in Arizona, so this page sticks to Arizona rules. Two things decide what you pay: whether the policy carries comprehensive, and whether the optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage was elected. Here is how the claim runs, and what your vehicle needs.

Common Wealth claims in Arizona

Arizona gives you three protections worth knowing before you file. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, every insurer selling comprehensive coverage in Arizona — Common Wealth included — must offer you a zero-deductible full safety-glass option. If you carry it, your windshield replacement is $0 out of pocket. Under A.R.S. § 20-263, an insurer may not raise your premium over an accident you did not cause — the normal treatment for glass damage from road debris. And under A.R.S. § 20-469, the choice of glass shop is yours — not your insurer's.

We serve the Valley and beyond: Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, and every Arizona city we serve. Full detail on state coverage rules is on our Arizona insurance guide.

Common Wealth glass claims — common questions

Will my deductible be waived on a Common Wealth windshield claim in Arizona?+

Only if you elected the optional coverage. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to offer optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage — it is an offer the insurer must make, not something that attaches to every policy automatically. If you took that option, your comprehensive deductible does not apply to the glass. If you did not, your normal comprehensive deductible applies. And if the policy is liability-only with no comprehensive at all, there is no glass coverage to bill under it. Your declarations page or a quick call to Common Wealth confirms both points before you schedule.

Do I need a referral or dispatch number before Bang can replace my glass?+

Usually not on these claims. Some carriers hand glass off to a third-party administrator that issues a referral or dispatch number; on Common Wealth claims we see, the claim is typically opened with the carrier directly and you come away with a claim number instead. Have that claim number written down before your appointment, along with your policy number and the vehicle's VIN. Either way, you choose your own glass shop in Arizona — telling them you have already picked Bang AutoGlass is enough.

My Toyota, Hyundai or Kia is a 2019 — does it need recalibration after the windshield is replaced?+

Very likely yes. On most 2018-and-newer Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet and Jeep models, the forward-facing camera that drives lane keeping and automatic emergency braking mounts to the windshield, so removing the glass changes its aim. Recalibration is part of completing the replacement, not an extra. Depending on the platform it is done statically with targets, dynamically on a drive cycle, or both. Give us the VIN and we will tell you which applies to your vehicle and how much time it adds to the appointment.

Do I file the Common Wealth claim myself?+

You don't have to. Tell us it's a Common Wealth policy when you book and we handle the claim paperwork and walk you through the filing — that's included, not an add-on. Have your policy number and the date the damage happened handy and we take it from there.

Will a glass claim raise my Common Wealth premium?+

Glass claims are filed under comprehensive coverage. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-263) restricts an insurer from increasing a premium as a result of an accident the insured did not cause or significantly contribute to. How a particular glass claim is treated depends on the facts, your policy, and Common Wealth's rating practices — ask Common Wealth directly if this is a concern.

How fast can you replace my windshield?+

Next-day appointments are typically available across Arizona, and we come to you — home, work, or roadside. Booking is open 24/7 online or by phone at (877) 994-5277. We confirm your exact window once we've verified your glass and your Common Wealth coverage.
