HiRoad policies in Arizona

A.R.S. § 20-264 requires insurers writing private passenger comprehensive coverage to offer full-glass coverage without a deductible. The policyholder must elect it. It is not automatic.

Under A.R.S. § 20-469, an Arizona insured may choose a glass repair facility unless the policy contract says otherwise.

How do I start a HiRoad glass claim?

Will HiRoad charge my deductible in Arizona?

HiRoad does not set one deductible for every Arizona glass claim. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, no deductible applies to covered windshield, door, and window glass only if you elected the full-glass option before the damage. If you did not elect it, your comprehensive deductible applies. Check your declarations page and confirm the amount with HiRoad.

Can HiRoad require a certain glass shop?

For an Arizona policy, A.R.S. § 20-469 allows you to choose a glass shop unless the policy contract says otherwise. HiRoad also says you may choose your repair shop. Does a HiRoad glass claim include ADAS calibration?

HiRoad’s public glass guidance does not say whether calibration is included for every claim. Confirm your coverage with HiRoad. If your vehicle requires camera calibration after windshield replacement, Bang AutoGlass provides calibration during the same visit where the procedure can be done on site. Will a HiRoad glass claim raise my premium?
