No. Horace Mann’s own article on glass coverage says you are not required to use Safelite. If you pick another shop, it says to contact Horace Mann or Safelite so the estimate is cleared before the work. In Arizona you can choose any glass shop unless your policy contract says otherwise; in Florida, on a personal auto policy, Horace Mann may not require a particular company for windshield work.
Horace Mann says your glass deductible matches your Other Than Collision deductible unless you have full glass coverage. In Arizona, full glass is an option the policyholder chooses.
