Trexis windshield replacement Arizona
We're a mobile auto glass shop serving Arizona. Tell us you're insured with Trexis and we'll verify your coverage, handle the claim paperwork, and come to you — usually next-day.
Will Trexis charge you a deductible?
For Arizona policies, the state's glass law decides it.
Arizona: state law (A.R.S. § 20-264) requires insurers — Trexis included — to offerzero-deductible full glass coverage. If you elected that option when the policy was written or renewed, your glass is often $0. It's never automatic — we check whether you carry it, free.
General information, not legal or insurance advice — coverage varies by policy, and we confirm yours free before any work. Full state rules: the Arizona full glass guide.
How to file with Trexis
- 1. Open the glass claim with Trexis. Most carriers take glass claims through their app, their website, or the claims number on your policy card — say "glass only" and it's usually the fastest lane they have.
- 2. Answer the basics. They'll ask for your policy number, the date the damage happened, and which glass is damaged — plus roughly where the break sits and how big it is.
- 3. Write down the number they give you. Some carriers issue a claim number directly; others route glass through an administrator and hand you a referral number instead. Either one is all we need — the notes below cover what to expect from Trexis.
- 4. Or skip all of it. Tell us it's a Trexispolicy and we file the claim with you start to finish — that's included, not an add-on.
What to have ready
- Your claim number — if you already filed
- Your policy number — if you haven't
- Year, make, and model
- The VIN, if it's reachable — two same-trim cars can take different glass
- The ZIP code where the car will be parked
Missing something? Start anyway — we'll fill the gaps with you on the phone.

Every windshield replacement comes with OEM-quality glass, a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, and ADAS recalibration to factory spec when the vehicle needs it.
We see Trexis policies almost entirely on Arizona vehicles — mostly Dodge, Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda and Ford, some new enough to carry a camera behind the windshield and some not. Here is how an Arizona Trexis glass claim actually runs, what A.R.S. 20-264 does and does not do for your deductible, and what we need to book mobile replacement.
Trexis claims in Arizona
Arizona gives you three protections worth knowing before you file. Under A.R.S. § 20-264, every insurer selling comprehensive coverage in Arizona — Trexis included — must offer you a zero-deductible full safety-glass option. If you carry it, your windshield replacement is $0 out of pocket. Under A.R.S. § 20-263, an insurer may not raise your premium over an accident you did not cause — the normal treatment for glass damage from road debris. And under A.R.S. § 20-469, the choice of glass shop is yours — not your insurer's.
We serve the Valley and beyond: Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, and every Arizona city we serve. Full detail on state coverage rules is on our Arizona insurance guide.

Trexis glass claims — common questions
Does Trexis waive my deductible for a windshield replacement in Arizona?+
Not automatically. Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-264) requires insurers to OFFER optional no-deductible safety-glass coverage — it is an option the driver must have elected when the policy was written or renewed, not an entitlement that comes with every Arizona policy. Check your Trexis declarations page for two things: that comprehensive coverage is on the policy (glass replacement is a comprehensive claim, so a liability-only policy has nothing for it to attach to), and whether the optional safety-glass coverage was elected. If it was not, your standard comprehensive deductible applies. If the declarations page is unclear, ask Trexis and get the answer before the appointment is scheduled.
What number do I need to give you, and can I choose my own glass shop?+
Report the loss through the carrier's usual channel — phone, app or website — and write down whatever number you are issued. Some glass claims produce a claim number from the insurer; others produce a referral or dispatch number from a third-party administrator. Either one works for us, so bring the one you were given and have it with you when you book. We can also open the paperwork from our end using your policy details and coordinate the authorization for you. As for the shop: the choice is yours. Arizona leaves the choice of glass shop with the vehicle owner. Tell Trexis you want Bang AutoGlass. Choosing Bang does not change your coverage or your claim.
My Honda has a camera behind the mirror — does the windshield need recalibration?+
Yes. If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera mounted to the windshield behind the mirror — generally 2018 and newer — recalibration is part of the job. Hondas with Honda Sensing, Toyotas with Toyota Safety Sense, Fords with Co-Pilot360, and late-model Silverados, Equinoxes, Ram 1500s and Chargers commonly carry one. That camera feeds lane keeping, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise, and its aim comes out with the old glass, so the system has to be recalibrated against the new windshield. It is not an add-on. It is also why we ask for the VIN and trim: two vehicles of the same model year can carry different sensor packages, and the windshield part follows the sensor package rather than the badge.
Do I file the Trexis claim myself?+
You don't have to. Tell us it's a Trexis policy when you book and we handle the claim paperwork and walk you through the filing — that's included, not an add-on. Have your policy number and the date the damage happened handy and we take it from there.
Will a glass claim raise my Trexis premium?+
Glass claims are filed under comprehensive coverage. Arizona law (A.R.S. § 20-263) restricts an insurer from increasing a premium as a result of an accident the insured did not cause or significantly contribute to. How a particular glass claim is treated depends on the facts, your policy, and Trexis's rating practices — ask Trexis directly if this is a concern.
