Assurance America asks for your policy number, incident date, location, and vehicle details when you report a loss. Keep any claim or reference number it gives you. Your declarations page also shows which Assurance America company issued the policy and which coverage applies to the vehicle. We use those details to check your glass coverage and plan the mobile replacement.

Assurance America policies in Arizona

A.R.S. § 20-264 requires insurers writing private passenger comprehensive coverage to offer full-glass coverage without a deductible. The policyholder must elect it. It is not automatic.

Under A.R.S. § 20-469, an Arizona insured may choose a glass repair facility unless the policy contract says otherwise.

Assurance America policies in Florida

Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, Florida's windshield deductible does not apply when the policy has comprehensive or combined additional coverage. The rule does not cover door, rear, quarter, or sunroof glass.

Fla. Stat. § 627.7291 says a person may not require a particular company or location for covered Florida personal-lines windshield claims. An insured may have accepted a policy with a windshield repair arrangement, so check the policy terms.

Assurance America windshield claim questions

What number do I keep for my Assurance America glass claim?
Assurance America may give you a claim number or another reference number after you report the glass damage. Keep every number and any adjuster contact details it provides. Share those details with Bang AutoGlass when you book. We check your coverage free and help you with the claim. If you are not sure which number matters, confirm it with Assurance America.
Will my Assurance America windshield claim have a deductible?
Your policy state and coverage decide it. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7288, Florida’s windshield deductible does not apply when the policy provides comprehensive or combined additional coverage. That rule is for the windshield only; other glass keeps the normal deductible. In Arizona, A.R.S. § 20-264 gives no-deductible coverage for windshield, door, and window glass only if you elected full glass. Otherwise, your comprehensive deductible applies.
Can Assurance America require a certain glass shop?
In Arizona, A.R.S. § 20-469 lets you choose a glass facility unless your policy contract says otherwise. Under Fla. Stat. § 627.7291, Florida does not allow a person, insurer, or anyone acting for it to require a particular company or location for a covered personal-lines windshield claim. You may have accepted a policy with a windshield repair arrangement, so check your Assurance America policy and confirm its terms.
Does my Assurance America claim include camera calibration?
Coverage for calibration can vary by policy and vehicle, so confirm it with Assurance America before the visit. If your windshield replacement needs calibration, Bang AutoGlass offers calibration during the same visit where the procedure can be done on site. We will tell you if the procedure cannot be done on site.
Will a glass claim raise my Assurance America premium?
