Step by step
EMC gives three routes to report: Policyholder Access, its 24-hour line, or your agent. Whichever you pick, it goes faster with the glass already identified.
Tell us the vehicle and the damage, or call (877) 994-5277. We find the windshield your VIN takes and look at the EMC policy with you.
Log in to Policyholder Access, call 888-362-2255, or ask your agent to turn the claim in to EMC. EMC notes that online reporting isn’t open to every policyholder.
If EMC or your agent asks where the glass is going, say Bang AutoGlass, (877) 994-5277. Write down the claim number you get.
Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm, at your home or work. Most windshields take 30–45 minutes, and we bill your insurer directly.

Usually, through the comprehensive part of your EMC Insurance auto policy; a liability-only policy doesn’t pay for your own glass. In Arizona, the windshield skips the deductible only if you chose full glass coverage. In Florida, the deductible doesn’t apply to windshield damage on a policy with comprehensive coverage. We check your policy before booking.

On a Florida policy with comprehensive coverage, the deductible doesn’t apply to windshield damage. On an Arizona personal auto policy, it depends on whether you elected full glass coverage when it was offered. We confirm which applies before we schedule.
Say so when you report. In Arizona you can choose any glass shop unless your policy contract says otherwise. In Florida, on a personal auto policy, EMC may not require a particular company for windshield work; if you took a discount for a set repair arrangement, check the policy.
